Stephanie Funk is a former journalist and and animal lover living in western MA with her husband Edward.
She is a long time auto racer with Sports Car Club of America and a neophyte motorcycle racer of vintage machines with the United States Classic Racing Association, She brings a depth of knowledge about the world of motorsports and the people you find frequenting that world. 'A Nickel's Worth of Road Measles' is her debut work, one that touches upon the quirky characters found in garages and racetracks across the country. Stephanie weaves a love of reading engaging thrillers and mysteries with her experience in the automotive world. Writing as Stevie Lynne, Funk brings a mythical small town and all of its citizens to life with all the zany, off the wall adventures they bring. As they say, 'you can't make this stuff up' and those real life experiences shine through in the Brownville Series. Stephanie holds a degree in creative writing, and has many publishing credits in magazines and newspapers. |
